Backup Exec – Disable Auto clean
Actually there is no option to enable or disable the Autoclean from Backup Exec 2010. Instead we can avoid backup exec to use those tapes from inventory and checking the tape whether is it useful to take backup. For this go to the Devices and select the slot which has the cleaning media – right click and properties – check the box cleaning slot Next time it wont see the tape inside the cleaning slot.
